Mix of the Month - July 2007

At the end of every month, I'm going to post an 80-minute sequenced playlist that you are more than welcome to download and assemble. It will be comprised of both new and old songs, but I will put at least one song released in the previous month on each list (bolded). If you wish to create the mix, but can't find all the tracks, email me at strikerstud005@hotmail.com and I will send you anything you couldn't get on your own. Here goes the inaugural list:

1) Sonic Youth - Teen Age Riot (from the album "Daydream Nation")
2) Spoon - Don't You Evah (from the album "Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga")
3) Interpol - Untitled (from the album "Turn on the Bright Lights")
4) TV on the Radio - Hours (from the album "Return to Cookie Mountain")
5) Dismemberment Plan - What Do You Want Me to Say? (from the album "Emergency and I")
6) Wolf Parade - Dears Sons and Daughters of Hungry Ghosts
7) Wolf Parade - I'll Believe in Anything (both from the album "Apologies to the Queen Mary")

8) Silver Jews - Night Society (from the album "American Water")
9) Swan Lake - Are You Swimming in Her Pools? (from the album "Beast Moans")
10) Andrew Bird - Fake Palindromes (from the album "The Mysterious Production of Eggs")
11) Menomena - Rotten Hell (from the album "Friend and Foe")
12) The National - Mistaken For Strangers (from the album "Boxer")
13) Clap Your Hands Say Yeah - Details of the War (from the album "Clap Your Hands Say Yeah")
14) Bright Eyes - Something Vague (from the album "Fevers and Mirrors")
15) Bonnie "Prince" Billy - Death to Everyone (from the album "I See a Darkness")
16) Wilco - Ashes of American Flags (from the album "Yankee Hotel Foxtrot")
17) Guided by Voices - The Goldheart Mountaintop Queen Directory (from the album "Bee Thousand")
18) Band of Horses - The Funeral (from the album "Everything All the Time")
19) Neutral Milk Hotel - Two Headed Boy Part Two (from the album "In the Aeroplane Over the Sea")

Normally I wouldn't put the same artist on a mix twice (nevermind back-to-back), but I love the transition so much between the two Wolf Parade tracks that I felt compelled to bend the "rules" a bit.
